The 32nd Blues Music Awards…

The ballroom of the Cook Convention Center in Memphis Tennessee provided the setting for the 32nd Blues Music Awards on 5th May 2011. Bringing together blues musicians, industry representatives and fans from all over the world to celebrate the best in blues recordings and performances from the previous year, The Blues Foundation presents the annual Blues Music Awards to artists specially selected by its members. This year’s winners include Buddy Guy, Charlie Musselwhite, Irma Thomas, Dr John and the late great Solomon Burke and Pinetop Perkins.
