Blueflint Hit The Road

“Beautifully-crafted songs that swoop easily from the dark underbelly of folk to buoyant Americana-tinged ballads” – Scots band Blueflint take their subtle blend of bluegrass and Americana on the road next week in support of their second album Maudy Tree. At the heart of their sound are the close harmony vocals and banjo picking of Deborah Arnott (banjo and ukulele) and Claire Neilson (clawhammer banjo) with Hugh Kelly on double bass and Roddy Neilson of Peatbog Faeries on fiddle and vocals.

“…lyrically clever, musically immediate… Rich imagery and cleverly captured vignettes draw the listener in… total winner.” (fRoots)

Watch Blueflint performing the title track and I Climbed A Mountain at their Maudy Tree launch night and catch them live at the venues below.
