Breabach are playing at CODA Music on Sunday at 5.15 as part of opening weekend of Edinburgh Fringe. The fiery young Scottish combo have been wowing the critics,scooping awards nominations and having undergone some personal changes and released their second album, are better than ever. New vocalist Megan Henderson allows them to stretch their range into Gaelic songs, whilst the combination of pipes, fiddle and the driving rhythms of guitar and double bass are truly thrilling. The band will be playing a roughly 20 minute set and will be around to chat and sign stuff as well. You should also keep an eye on the schedules as well as local live favourites and general Celtic roustabouts Shooglenifty are also due to make an appearance at Coda (the 10th has been mooted but is still tbc as I write). Both Bands will also be appearing at the Speigeltent during the festival.
