Nashville based singer/songwriter Diana Jones is an artist who has made her reputation through great songs and unique performances that bring a fresh and sadly melodic approach to alt-country. She returns to the UK later this month for a string of dates through June and July and will return again in August for 2 dates supporting Richard Thompson followed by an appearance at Shrewsbury Folk Festival.
Watch Diana performing ‘If I Had A Gun’ live at the Barbican below.
No shows booked at the moment.

Diana Jones is one of my favorite singer songwriters, along with Dave Carter, Ralph McTell and Kathy Mattea. As a fellow Appalachian with strong British ancestry and ties, I find her music and exquisite performances ” take me home” every time, seeing me through life’s ups and downs. My husband reported that the other night I was singing one of her songs in my sleep (I hope it wasn’t ‘If I had a gun” though that’s one of my favorites!). She gives a voice to those parts of ourselves that might have remained silent but cry out to be heard.
