Singer, guitarist & songwriter Emily Barker hits the road next week as part of The Revival Tour featuring Americana singer/songwriters Chuck Ragan (Hot Water Music) and Cory Branan, Canada’s Jay Malinowski from reggae band Bedouin Soundclash and Texan Rocky Votolato, accompanied by Joe Ginsberg, Jon Gaunt, and The Dead Coast plus special guests.
Chuck Ragan helped create the musical and cultural collaborative, he says: “In the last five years that I’ve had the opportunity of being on The Revival Tour, it’s been nothing but an invigorating breath of fresh air amongst the sea of live music out there today. The revolving showcase of real music by real people in a simple grass-roots fashion, seems it originated in the old days from families and communities sharing music together, this is the simple ethic in live music events that we aim to revive.”
The Revival Tour kicks off in Cardiff, Wales on 16 October 2012, travels across Europe and returns to the UK in late November.
Emily Barker then teams up with her band The Red Clay Halo for their own gig at London’s Union Chapel on Wednesday 21st November 2012.
