Backstage at last weekend’s Larmer Tree Festival, Songs From The Shed set up in a ramshackle shed in the woods and filmed sessions with nearly 60 acts from headliners to wandering minstrels over the course of five days.
One of the bands to grace the shed – where “It’s not about studio perfection, it’s about a moment in a shed !” – were members of The Imagined Village, featuring Martin Carthy and co. doing their own take on Slade’s Cum On Feel The Noize.
The Imagined Village’s latest album, Bending The Dark is out now on ECC Records.
