October 17th sees the release of the second album by Naomi Bedford. Entitled ‘Tales From The Weeping Willow’, it is a collection of dark songs, laments and murder ballads. Combining duets and original songwriting contributions from Paul Heaton and Justin Currie; musical contributions from such disparate talents as the wyrd-folk star Alasdair Roberts, blues guitar master Kris Dollimore and producer Gerry Diver, the album blends folk and country styles and showcases the full range of Naomi’s haunting vocals. As well as featuring fantastic songwriting. It captures the essence of this authentic and original English vocalist after almost two decades of leading an eclectic musical life.
Listen to The Ferry Boat Inn below from the new album which features Paul Heaton and was also written by Paul and David Rotheray.
