Widely respected throughout the songwriting community, he’s worked with numerous musicians and penned the Grammy nominated Dixie Chicks hit, Long Time Gone.

Over the years the singer has recorded and performed with Ringo Starr, Lucinda Williams, Richard Thompson, Roger McGuinn, Levon Helm, The Pretenders and Counting Crows. Now Willie has just completed a new album, The Innocent Ones.
