Award-winning Finnish singer-songwriter Sansa, whose third album Savior comes out on Kool Musik next week, returns to the UK at the end of May to perform with her band as part of the JaJaJa Nordic club night at The Lexington in London on 31st May 2012, also featuring Reptile Youth from Denmark and Maribel from Norway.
Sansa’s won a legion of fans and generated numerous column inches during her career which has seen her supporting the likes of Robert Plant, Genesis, Bryan Adams, Katie Melua and Martha Wainwright on their tours in Finland. Her latest release continues her collaboration with producer Janne Oinas and finds the two of them playing all the instruments on the new album. The result is an enticing mix of folk, pop and trip hop including a cover of Sabrina’s massive Eurohit Boys (Summertime Love) which she reworks as “a subtle and haunting folk song”.
