Young Texan singer and multi-instrumentalist Sarah Jarosz joined Kate Rusby last summer to record the song Planets for Kate’s new double album 20, due out next week. The album celebrates Kate’s 20 year career in music and features a stellar cast of guest artists, ranging from Eddi Reader and Dick Gaughan to Paul Brady and Aoife O’Donovan.
Sarah will be joining Kate Rusby on 18th October 2012 for an exclusive Radio 2 Concert at the BBC Radio Theatre in London which will be broadcast live, other guests for the evening include folk legend Nic Jones and Scottish singer Eddi Reader. Sarah will be staying on in the UK to guest on a couple more of Kate’s 20 Year Celebration Concerts, catch her singing harmony vocals and playing mandolin at Sheffield City hall on 21st Oct and London’s Royal Festival Hall on 23rd Oct.
