The Imagined Village release their third album Bending The Dark on the 14th May. The award winning band are one of the most innovative, radical and best selling groups to have emerged from the recent English roots revival. Their third album is by far their most cohesive and radical yet and has been described in the press as ‘a joyous celebration of English and global culture’. Combining leading players from the English folk, electronica and Asian Music scene the new album is made up largely of original compositions produced with the intention of capturing the energy and originality of their stunning live performances. It shows cases the bands talent not just as a dynamic collective of players but also composers and lyricist.
