This week’s Track Of The Week has to go to Emily Barker & The Red Clay Halo’s Pause as it is to be featured as the theme to new BBC Two drama series The Shadow Line which launches this Thursday, 5th May at 9.00pm.
The Shadow Line is a major new drama serial created by Hugo Blick. A sophisticated conspiracy thriller in seven parts that brings to life a cinematic world of blurred morality and the conflicted characters who inhabit it It features a star studded cast including Chiwetel Ejiofor, Christopher Eccleston, Sir Antony Sher and Stephen Rea. Emily is fast becoming the go-to artist for major detective TV series having previously provided Kenneth Branagh’s Wallander with its theme in the shape of her Nostalgia track from the Despite The Snow album
